Business Telephone System Sales Professional

Brooks Communication, Inc. is growing! We have an immediate opening for a professional outside sales representative.

For over 30 years we’ve provided our clients with the best in telecommunication products and services from Mitel, Inter-tel, Tadiran, ESI, and Polycom. Our quality evaluations lead to carefully configured systems which meet client needs without being oversold. We have the best service response time in Albuquerque and want to be our client’s single contact for telephone products and services.

Previous experience as an outside sales representative and great client relation skills are required. Due to the convergence of telephone and data communications, you must be computer literate and have the ability to understand a data network environment. You’ll be responsible for generating all of your own leads and prospects.

We will provide comprehensive product training, sales and technical support, and assistance in completion of paperwork required for each sale. Our customer relations staff will assist in user training.

We offer salary plus commission and benefits. Starting salary will be based upon previous sales and compensation history.

Specific information:

Normal business hours are 7:45 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

Sales representatives will begin and end the business day at the office unless there is a specific appointment scheduled.

There is a required staff meeting every Wednesday morning at 7:45 am and will generally last about one hour.

Some after hours work may be required to meet a prospective client and to complete the paperwork required for a sale.

Training will include sales contact reports, prospecting sessions, and on site training with existing sales representatives. Factory training will also be included.
